New Trailer for SONIC MANIA, you feeling SPECIAL???

Let the retro feels overwhelm you in the latest trailer for Sonic Mania! That’s right we’re less than a week away from the return of a classic Sega franchise, where a fox, hedgehog and echidna get involved in some stellar adventures. The fresh video dives head first into something near and dear to many fan hearts: those special stages! It looks like the game is borrowing elements from the Genesis and Saturn eras, combining them and making something unique. Which believe me looks to be an absolutely stellar thing!

2D Sonic is back in an all-new adventure! The classic Sonic experience returns with brand new twists. Play as Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles as you race through all-new Zones and fully re-imagined classics, each filled with exciting surprises and powerful bosses. Harness Sonic’s new Drop Dash, Tails’ flight, and Knuckles’ climbing abilities to overcome the evil Dr. Eggman’s robots. Discover a myriad of never-before-seen hidden paths and secrets! This all-new experience celebrates the best of Classic Sonic, pushing the envelope forward with stunning 60 FPS gameplay and pixel-perfect physics. Welcome to the next level for the world’s fastest blue hedgehog.

The second this game got announced the developers won me over. I’ll never forget the fun times I had speeding through with the blue blur and his pals. Each game entertained in a way that kept me loyal to the company all the way to their final console and beyond. Good times for sure and I for one can’t wait to try and relive them on either my Switch or PlayStation 4 for just 19.99 but what do you think?

Are you planning on picking this up or avoiding it altogether? Is there some juice left to go fast?
