Four days left and the internet extension of the MCU is about to have its biggest release since Daredevil season one! And to celebrate the milestone Marvel and Netflix are bringing out a new but final trailer for The Defenders. No matter how you feel about their efforts so far this is a huge step forward as four different shows unite under one banner to save New York from the evils of Sigourney Weaver! Ripley vs a team of street level vigilantes, if nothing else it should be interesting to see how it all shakes for these Knights come Friday, so bring it on!

Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together. The Netflix original series will launch globally on August 18, 2017.

Here’s my take on the whole thing. The Man without Fear got his best adaption yet which raised the bar tremendously high, then Jessica Jones offered something good but the plot felt like it dragged on too long. Luke Cage won me over early on with an engaging plot but Iron Fist left me in doubt. I was disappointed because Danny Rand and his adventures just seemed rushed. Despite any bumps or bruises from day one the hype for this new series is real and I’m eager to see how these characters ultimately play together.

But what do you think? Will you binge watch this? Or are you skipping the latest from Marvel and Netflix?
